Although Porters Point waterfront cottage is nested quietly on the water, civilization is close for comfort. Within 15 minutes experience great dining, major shopping centers, movie rentals, churches, theatres (both live and film), several museums and the safety of the area's major hospital. Other amenities include strawberry picking, U-pick fruit/vegetable farms and farm markets. World class day trips include Chester, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Wolfville, Digby, Halifax and Windsor that can be made between 10 minutes and 1.5 hours from this very central location.

Fifteen minutes from the rugged, foggy coast of the Bay of Fundy to the North and ten minutes from the Village of  New Minas and the towns of Wolfville and Kentville.  Nestled snugly in the very heart of the scenic Annapolis Valley close enough to everything for comfort and convenience.  Far enough away for peace and quiet.
